UFC betting - The Ultimate Fighters 11 – Episode 9 Recap

http://www.freakinmma.com/images/categories/113.jpg"The Ultimate Fighter 11" is coming to its end as Episode 9 is in the books. We had two more quarterfinal fights, with Kyle Noke (Team Liddell) vs. Kris McCray (Team Ortiz) and Brad Tavares (Team Liddell) vs. Seth Baczynski (Team Ortiz). Two will advance with coveted spots in the semifinals. Much to the excitement of UFC betting everywhere.

Additionally, in the opening seconds of the episode it is clear we are going to find out something about T.O. the "big news" we've heard about all year and seems like a lock that coach Tito Ortiz's will departure from "TUF" – may finally be revealed in tonight's show.

Also in Episode 9 of the Ultimate Fighter Team Liddell vs Team Ortiz, we get right down to the action and zoom to the UFC Training Center for the first-fight weigh-ins. Kris is up first and weighs 185 pounds, and Kyle comes in at exactly the same weight.

Their rest of the teams cast members are eagerly awaiting this Kyle-Kris fight because they know the duo trained together for quite awhile before their time on the show. UFC president Dana White said he didn't shy away from the booking because he had to make one thing perfectly clear: "There are no friends in the UFC," he says. The UFC has a long tradition of letting the fists doing the talking no matter what the relationship between the two fighters. And that is what UFC betting love about the sport.

After the weigh-ins, all our attention goes back to Tito Ortiz. Tito is telling his team that a doctor has recommended surgery due to a disc that is pushing against his spine. The condition makes sleep impossible and causes his legs and arms to tingle.

"If I keep chancing myself or fighting injured, I'm going to hurt myself worse" Tito says to his team, "I am not going to make the same mistake I have made before. I am not going to let Chuck beat me because I wasn't 100 percent. No way."

So we know now that Ortiz will not be going up against Liddell any time soon, and the way Tito Ortiz health looks, possibly never.

In any event, all the fighters return to the gym the next day. Kris and Kyle both talk about the difficulty about fighting a friend and how it's something they never really have experienced before.

Kyle defeats Kris in a 3 round decision and Brad defeats Seth due to an illegal kick to the head.
